Hindus God Shiva Was the First Prophet of Islam -- Mufti Ilyas

Maulana Ilyaas is a famous religious scholar from Jamia Darul Uloom Deoband, India. Recently in one of his speech he has declared that Hindus Lord Shiva was the first messenger of Islam. He further said that the Islam did not emerge from Arabian Soil but from the soil of Greater India (Lanka). With this statement he opened a new discussion and facing many criticisms on his comments. Because according to Muslim’s faith Hazrat Adam (A.S) was the first prophet of Islam not the Shiva.

He also said that all people who are living in India are Hindus even they are Muslims or Hindus. And there is no difference between Muslims and Hindus.
